On the one hand we make sure our clients can enjoy their time in Melides and not have to deal with house and property problems, on the other hand we make sure that our clients holiday home is well listed and fully booked.
MUI founders have over two decades of experience in international relocation, real estate and culture management resulting in a perfect tandem specialized in different fields, coming from different backgrounds.
Meet Tinne / Co-Founder / The Juggler
Before relocating to Portugal Tinne started her career in the Belgian music industry working as an assistant concert promoter and artist manager. During the 5 subsequent years, she put her heart and soul into a Belgian NGO focusing on social equality through cultural empowerment.
Tinne is the one with real estate experience and the knowledge of local people, language and region. She has the special tongue for getting things done in the best way for both, the clients and the locals. She speaks fluent Portuguese, Spanish, English, French and Dutch.
Tinne is coming to this area for more than 10 years, and finally decided to relocate in 2016 with her husband and 2 kids. Her family-in-law has been living in the area for more than 30 years, which resulted in a Belgian-Portuguese extended family.
If she’s not working or playing ‘mom’, you can find her reading a good book or meeting up with friends on a terrace enjoying the always present Portuguese sun.
Meet Lene / Co-Founder / The Aesthete
Lene managed an agency for 20 years that gives young people from all over the world the opportunity to gain personal and professional experience in Germany.
In addition, she has supported international employees of large companies with their relocation to Germany and Luxembourg.
Lene is specialised in bringing cultures together and interpret between them. With her own expat history she is bringing with her a big bag of experiences and a good understanding and empathy for the client’s needs.
Because it was too cold and cramped for her in Germany, she and her husband bought a property in Melides.
Lene has two daughters, two dogs, two cats and the understanding husband just mentioned.
When Lene isn’t busy working for clients you can find her in her big garden cooking the perfect soil for her plants.
